About us

Trust is a product of the success and satisfaction of our customers. Our goal is consequently to earn the trust of our customers over and over again. The best guarantees are our employees, who work for the success of the company as fair and reliable partners.

Our company -  PFF – Papier in Form und Farbe GmbH  -  has its offices in Marienberg, a small town in the Erzgebirge mountains, in the German state of Saxony. We currently count 16 employees.

Our product range covers rotationally symmetrical cellulose shapes, dyed or printed paper confetti and punched card and cardboard articles.

Cellulose forming

In the “cellulose forming” department, rotationally symmetrical shapes are manufactured from cellulose wadding (open, loose and high-volume sheets with weights from 12 to 22 g/m²). On the basis of these FSC-certified materials and environment-friendly processes, we produce a wide diversity of individual articles, for example:
Scatter balls

  • Manufactured on automatic forming machines in diameters from 12 to 40 mm and in six standard colours (special colours with specification of a RAL or Pantone number) and subsequently packaged in tubular bags
  • Suitable as filling for table fireworks and for throwing and scattering on the most varied occasions

Upon request, the scatter balls which are produced primarily for export to Western and Southern Europe can be made up into sets with safety blowpipes.

Craft supplies

  • Cellulose balls in diameters from 6 to 80 mm, cellulose eggs in lengths from 12 to 90 mm, fruit shapes, finger puppets and other shapes of the most varied sizes for a wide range of creative and design activities

Laboratory supplies

  • Disposable laboratory plugs (tapered plugs) made from cellulose wadding in a variety of shapes and sizes
  • Permeable to air, suitable for sterilisation and with a bacteria filtering effect. Can be placed in autoclaves at temperatures up to 200°C. Discoloration in case of use at temperatures above 120°C is not a defect, but rather the natural result of the residual lignin in the cellulose.

Dispersion carriers

  • Formed parts made of cellulose wadding, designed to take up liquid or pasty substances
  • Diverse applications ranging from scented balls to drive away moles, via mothballs to fragranced balls for shoe hygiene

Paper processing

In the “paper processing” department, we produce confetti from beater-dyed recycling paper (sheet weights 60 to 120 g/m2), as well as masks, weaving templates and hats from card and cardboard (sheet weights 200 to 360 g/m²). On the basis of these materials and environment-friendly processes, we produce a wide diversity of individual articles, for example:
Confetti

  • Diameter 7 mm in six standard colours
  • Available in a single colour or as a multi-colour mix
  • Packaged in tubular bags of OPP film; fabric sacks are used for package units of 5 kg or more

 Craft supplies

  • Cardboard weaving templates for children's and senior citizens' activities
  • Cardboard masks and hats for children's parties

These articles can be coloured with all standard craft paints and glued with all standard craft adhesives. Upon request, the articles can also be combined into sets for school and nursery activities.
